I haven’t gambled for over a month...and I haven’t had urges. Yes, I’ve thought about it, but gambling is something I did all the time before I became a non-gambler. I won't try to summarize the book here, but I will say, this book really clicked for me, and I am a non-gambler now! I have tried other methods, and failed miserably to defeat my gambling addiction. This book really dissects the myths of gambling, and it is not using will power. It is a method of analyzing and breaking down the condition, explaining the illusion and tricks that gambling has played on your brain. Now that I read the book, it all seems so simple and clear. I will re-read this book periodically as a refresher. I can say with great satisfaction and thanks to the author, that I am a changed man, and I am quite certain that I will never gamble again in my life. I could not be happier!
