I'm torn - this book has some excellent information, easy to read and set up nicely/logically. However, I do have some issues with the some of the temperature natures of foods being different depending on where you look - yes strange. For instance, butter is neutral, warm in one section and cooling in another. Plus, I have issues with this just in general from book to book - shouldn't it always be the same no matter what resource you are looking?I do have to say overall this author does impress me, but I am a bit worried about the inconsistencies.

I haven't finished reading the book, but what I've read so far has provided the help I was looking for plus much more information than I expected. I'm glad I purchased.

Great book, lots of information also general of Tcm and including acupuncture points. Great advice for healthy eating.would buy again.

Very informative and organized. I really like this book. It was not as large as I thought it was from the way the cover looks. But....packed with lots of great information.

They say that your food is the herbs of the meadow. What you put in your mouth is more than often that which sustains you and gives you your daily health. The foods in modern living can often fall short of a complete culinary healthy experience. Here is a realistic presentation of recipes and remedies for a multitude of conditions; often not covered by a Western dietitian's repertoire.

I am in my first year in TCM school. Wanted a book on TCM nutrition that would give me a base of knowledge to bridge me over til my classes came around in the cirriculum. This book was easy to use and gave information about the foods nature, cookings influence on food, and foods and cooking methods for specific patterns. Very pleased with my purchase.

Excellent book, fast post and great communication. Good experience.

Gives D&D and what foods you would use to treat people and it is a great book for your TCM collection.
